Some weird stuff today with ECN orders....both ARCA and ISLD orders were really strange, some not posting to the book, some not hitting matched orders.... Anyone else have any weird experiences with IB ECN routing today?

If you decide to start with swings, try a 50:50 long/short mix. This way you are less vulnerable to market risk. On days when the market tanks, it's nice to have those shorts in place.

The ARCA problem seems to have gone away. And yes, my IB quotes are really really slow today. Pretty rare that IB lags quote.com - usually the other way around. The ARCA problem yesterday and the lag today are probably signs of a bigger problem. Been a month since the last IB crisis...
