Precisely... The markets change personality from time to time. 2 basic types, trending (whether up or down) and sideways. If you look at currencies enough you will see that they will trend then go sideways then trend again.... if you trade closely, you will see/sense the changes.

Just server time and login time are all I am aware of. generally you just look at your computers clock to see local time. Seems kind of redundant to have it in TWS as well.

I dont know them from an operational standpoint, but their quote was lower than the IB roundtrip rates.... Global Futures... Personally I use TOS and IB for Futures Trading and I am satisfied. TOS is limited in what they offer (at the moment), and the commission is a touch higher than IB...

Do some chart reading and find a trading strategy that will generate profits for you... Scalping is a JOKE IMO for forex.... Especially around News, the spreads will eat you alive...
