Never-Ending Recession:Have Americans lost all hope for the future?

If 50% of the people were dependent on the government, this would be a third world country with high crime rates. Who would pay to take care of all of the poor, unless the working people want to pay 80% of their income for taxes?

USPS will NOT be able to make $5.5Billion payment this Friday due to low cash flow!!!

We still need a walking mail carrier to deliver to apartments, businesses, and condos. If the post office went to 1, 2, or 3 days a week, it would affect Netflix DVD deliveries. Currently, Netflix does not have all of their movies available for streaming.

Half The Country's Mortgages Are Underwater

I have a question... If you owe $200k in principal on your mortgage and your home is now worth $50k, can you let your home just go to foreclosure, and then buy your home back or a similar home for $50k in cash, assuming you have the cash? Do banks sue people to recover the bank's deficiency...

As far as music goes, you can get free music without using file sharing sites. There are free websites out there that allow you to convert music from Youtube into an MP3 file. With that MP3 file, you can burn it on to a CD or transfer it to an Ipod. Youtube has tons of music from all over the world.

"Occupiers" push Nov. 1 for U.S. to stop paying mortgages en masse.

Perhaps all purchases should be cash. The world would be simplified if there were no such things as home loans, car loans, credit cards, and student loans. It would bring prices down for everything.

Thanks. That is awesome. With these sites, why would anyone buy music when you can just convert a youtube file into an MP3, and then burn it on to a cd or transfer it to an ipod. Youtube has tons of music.

    Mortgage Payments

I think I will set up the automatic withdrawals for each month, plus I get to save some money by not having to use stamps. Is there a monthly fee to do that? Have you ever had a problem whereby the bank did not withdraw the money for the month?

    Mortgage Payments

I currently have a fixed rate mortgage on my house with 24 years left until it is paid off. I won't mention the bank name that I make my payments to, but it is a large publicly traded bank. I usually pay my mortage a few months in advance, and then the bank immediately sends me a bill after I...

    iphone 5 coming Oct 4th.

Apple should just release a new phone every week. Those Apple lovers would buy a new one every week and stand in 8 hour lines every week; like hamsters on a wheel.

People shouldn't work so many hours. 40 hours a week is more than enough. Ruining your health is not worth the money. Live simple. The best things in life are free.
