You might want to look at whether or not you're using RTH or Globex time.

I don't recall anyone claiming to be actively teaching. I simply "choose" to learn.

Fair enough. As a "student", I study the principles used and view the actions taken. This is far more valuable to me than knowing how they get their exact numbers. I accept the challenge and work very hard every day to find my own way of obtaining valid numbers with the goal of being correct...

I concur. I love to read what all these guys have to say. I aspire to one day have the ability to help others with their trading. For now, I remain the student.

Apex, The most remarkable traders out there have had the exact same experience. It's part of the business and any seasoned trader knows that. It doesn't diminish my opinion of your skills one iota. Keep up the good work. Don't change a thing because on balance, you win consistently...

You're welcome. You should be able to find whatever symbols you need from your data provider. I also use Quote Tracker, but the feed comes from DTN IQ. DTN has the symbol guide for me and I suspect your data provider has the same for you. Good luck and good trading. R

Nicely done. You have a knack for timing. Only in the market for a few minutes at a time while capturing your money.

The same old pre FOMC meeting routine. Saw this coming. This thing probably won't move significantly until Wed at the announcement.

You do great work apex....great work. Just wish I better understood how you derive your levels. I always enjoy reading your posts. I also respect that you call it live and take your hits as well as your misses like a pro.

    First Instinct Is Superior

This is something I struggle with as well. Hesitation when your instincts are screaming for action. I chalk it up to fear of losing getting the best of me. This is a flaw that must be remedied to become a better trader.

    FU Jim Cramer

I wouldn't be giving him enough credit to change a market. He has the pulpit and mouth to put some volatility into an equity, but longer term change....fagetaboutit. He's a joke. Watching / listening to mainstream market media is detrimental to trading well.

Altruism? 8) I haven't figured that one out either. He seems like he derives satisfaction from what he does. I doubt he needs the money. Maybe he's looking for a gig with a hedge fund or some other trading group.

I would venture to guess he knows his levels before the day begins and he usually uses pretty wide stops to give the whole thing adequate breathing room. Given that, one needs a pretty sizable account to take those stops and still only have risked a prudent 1 or 2%. His directional...

    BUY AMSC N*O*W* We're a China play!

The following is just my analysis and is in no way an endorsement to buy or sell anything. Your trades are your responsibility. The volume down was greater than the volume up. Again, I'd look for volume to dry up a bit. Needs more time to stew. Right now, I'd also adjust my buy target to...
