Questions about credit spreads!!! Help me!

A very interesting idea. Is there a good book/information resource about this? Would this mean that you better try to center your strategy on "stuff around the mean" and cancel out the tails?

Any one tried Bloomberg Event Driven Feed ?

Dow Jones News Service at Esignal, about $100 a month is pretty fast, I do not know if it is machine readable. You'll probably not beat a Goldman Sachs on it.

You are going deeper here than I have ever looked into. But a superficial answer would be that systems like financial markets are inherently incomputable (while still deterministic) like the weather. Yet computer systems might have an edge over human intelligence, as weather forecasters do.

    hmm.no edges in the markets

I'd be scared trading any size on CL. Seems like one guy (who knows probably more than you about oil positions) can move this thing way beyond your stop.
