Gold, Silver, and Indexes Using Price Action

There have been many claims of gold going up hundreds of points. Admittedly opinions are divided as to when that's going to happen. Today I was randomly looking at a totally clean monthly price chart and a slightly different view became apparent. Whether this view leads to anything tangible...

If price drops to 19.37 or 18.18 will that automatically trigger a buy for you? or is there other criteria that needs to be met as well before your entry is triggered? Gringo

Sector Analysis Using Pure Price Action

Oil is still in that hinge identified some time back. The price is reaching the end of the hinge, and so far there hasn't been a resolution as to which side has the upper hand. Price could simply drift aimlessly out of here, without having a break out of any kind. Oil used to be the rage some...

1022: Too much silence. 1023: Ret and down now. 1025: Taking too long. I don't like this short. 1026: Time to sit back and just observe, until resolution. 1027: Stuck in 2 point range. Up attempt failed again.

I see a Ret to the new Large DL. Of course if price BO above it invalidates the future pot. short. 1018: In the bigger scheme of things price is just resting in TR. It has held its gains from the morning rise.

1013: Notice price is having trouble breaking out but it's not dropping down. Demand is persistent so far. 1014: And it dropped :) 10:15: We had a HH, a new DL in place.

1010: Price tried a few times to go down but failed. Lets see if demand is enough to go up or we drift.

10:07: Nothing's happening. Price might blast above 64 if this drop to 62 area fails. 1009: Hinge?

1005: seems weakness returning. LH and LL in place for now. LOLR seems down to me at the moment.

1003: LSL holding so far. So be cautious with short. 1004: small TR? or some rest before continuation up? We await the verdict.

Another early chop day? Those scared of chop are going to get their chop phobia cured in a few days if it continues and they continue to stay calm. 0942: Was that a long at 56 with Ret. I posted a few seconds late, but what the heck. I know there are going to be questions why there was a...

0932: Ret? 0933: nope. Ret to the upside is there now. 0934: Going wild again. Failure to go up perhaps? Got to watch more to figure out what's happening.

    Stocks Analysis Using Price Action

AAPL is so far in a trading range. The Q's are pushing above their rage but this darling of the street is lagging a bit. Is it for long? We don't know. It is interesting to monitor these stocks once in a while. My focus on them is minimal and I have not much interest in this stock but for...

These kinds of wild swings represent indecision, I think. It's not clear to me anymore what's happening. BO and Ret here or chop?

What's the bigger picture? Price is having trouble going up. Where's the LOLR? Your entry is a bit problematic hence making it hard to sit tight. Demand trying something here. Gringo

Gold, Silver, and Indexes Using Price Action

GLD price may start to rise today. Just because price came to a halt doesn't directly mean a persistent rise is in the offing. Yes, the conditions may change but they are still bearish. This being said, the drop has been quite significant from 133 to 119. It is normal to have some pullbacks...

It's possible, but I await more confirmation before considering a long. It wouldn't be imprudent to reduce some of the short position, but it's a matter of personal choice. Gringo
