Does anyone else feel sleepy while trading?

Eat coconut oil (1-2 tbl. spoons) in the morning with oatmeal or by itself. This produces brain energy KETONES...a backup fuel source using fatty acids.:)

Prudent Risk Management Is The Only True Edge In TRADING

The edge you've "handed out" to everyone is about the same as telling everyone to "buy low and sell high" as the only TRUE EDGE!

The reason I dont use any indicators

Then how can you say "indicators have tremendous predictive capabilities" that are available for traders to use, but at the same time you say "utilization of correct risk management is all that the retail trader has"? Do you use these "predictive indicators" in your prudent risk management and...

The reason I dont use any indicators

Look, I've been down that road before, making modest sums of money trading with good risk to reward ratios with more losers than winners. Some years good and some with very little. I could proclaim to the world that I was profitable and leave it at that, but that approach wasn't good enough. I...

The reason I dont use any indicators

How would you know you could make a good living trading random entries when you've stated that you use "predictive indicators" in your trading? Have you tried random entries for an extended period of time and made this so called living? Or, are you just guessing?

The reason I dont use any indicators

1K or 2k a year in profits from random entries doesn't exactly count as the positive expectancy or winning trades most of us are talking about. Can you make a good living trading random entries? That's what counts!

The reason I dont use any indicators

NO...in other words they CONSISTENTLY PICKED DIRECTION POORLY, then lost confidence and therefore lost discipline. THEY HAD NO EDGE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

The reason I dont use any indicators

I disagree. I think a lot of traders blow up their accounts because they pick direction poorly and lost patience...therefore becoming desperate, losing discipline, hang on for big losses, book profits too soon, take too much risk, revenge trade, etc.

The reason I dont use any indicators

B1S2...I don't get it. On one hand you say "prudent risk management is the only true edge" and on the other you say "indicators have tremendous predictive capabilities". It sounds like you're saying indicators are a true edge too? Please clarify!

    "Scaling out" is inferior behavior

The problem with B1S2 is he knows his methodology very well, but he thinks everyone else should do it his way too!

Markets Will Rise for Monday Open

They won't stay neutral if U.S. attacks first...I thought?

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

Would you bet the house and the kids that the next 30 years in bonds will be the same as the last 30 years in bonds?

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

Wouldn't touch bonds when they've been in a bull market for several decades and possibly are in a bubble. The income part is too low and I wouldn't want to risk my principle. If you're going to hold the bonds through maturity (save principle) and the yield is satisfactory to you, then go for it...

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

First of all, I wouldn't say on a daily basis...remember low frequency. Just because I exit trades before the end of the day (day trader) doesn't mean the setups show up every day. I've had 2-3 setups each week since July. Too many of these setups have taken max. time (I want out at a certain...

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

I'm strictly a day trader (except for retirement investments) that would classify myself as a swing scalper. The highest probability setups need enough movement to make an entry worthwhile...nat.gas is best for me. Basically, I need a certain degree of that movement happening. I agree, prolonged...

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

Bond trading definitely isn't the only way to make money. My point was high probability/low frequency trading is the best approach...in my opinion. Whatever instrument works best...I think nat.gas is the best volatility out there. Sure, there are profitable traders in every kind of style out...

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

I just love this post...well said s0mmi! I've been doing "high probability/low frequency" trades with treasuries-gold-natural gas for many many years now, it's the only way in my opinion. Traders like Buy1Sell2 will never believe a post like this...whatever. I can tell s0mmi has legit knowledge...

Idiot who hates America gets her concert bombed

Aren't we supposed to pray for the soul anyways...shouldn't matter if the flesh is dead or alive? What do you say Mr. D?

Idiot who hates America gets her concert bombed

So, do you remember praying for each specific victim in the past before they were killed? Probably not as you don't even know them. Or do you just pray for people (that you don't know) in general when they are alive as I do also? Do you believe in any kind of judgement for those who pass on as...

Idiot who hates America gets her concert bombed

Maybe this will help you? Dear Lord...may they R.I.P. Dear Lord...please give healing to those who are injured. Dear Lord...please give strength and comfort to the victims loved one's. Lastly, why not pray for people to recover from presumed death...it does happen. Fate is a very complex issue...
