You could be right. 3 week long trendline in the VIX was broken today. 1st close beneath the VIX 10ma since stocks tanked off their new highs 10-11-07. In addition, stocks have rallied late in the day (professional buying) for the past 5 days.

the clear candlesticks indicate that the price traded higher than it opened, not accounting for gaps up or down. I've never seen that many 'trading up from the open' days on any chart, ever.

Here's an interesting chart of Gasoline.. I've never quite seen one like that. Trades UP from the open every single day for months.

I was able to meet my daily profit goal... but it could have been much better. Forgot to cancel a sell order and it really cost me...:<( Its hard enough beating the markets but when you screw up like that its double tough.

On a technical note, Friday's session was the 1st time in the last 16 days crude has closed in the lower half of its trading range. If there is not a quick rebound, that could signal weakness. Looks like oil is trading inverse to the USDollar index

I am starting doubts about qm; My sentiments exactly. Either oil traders are fixated on something new or the price is being manupulated here. There is no reason I can think up for higher prices after Friday's job's report.

From my point of view, if the markets drop hard on Monday it would suggest future weakness in the coming months. This is a system opinion. Down hard Friday followed by down hard Monday means weakness ahead. Investors had all weekend to view charts and look for buying opps at lower prices...

your stops seem a bit tight to me for someone who 'sits on the sidelines' fwiw...my returns have skyrocketed since I have supplimented day trading with options swing trading. consider using multiple techniques and stategies to hedge your risk.

USUALLY IF BOND YIELDS ARE HIGH, THEY TAKE MONEY AWAY FROM STOCKS. IF BOND YIELDS ARE LOW, (LIKE NOW), THEN STOCKS BECOME MORE ATTRACTIVE.
