    Sectors

Are there daily or weekly publications that list how the money flow is doing by sectors (i.e. oil and gas, electric utilites, tech hardware, etc.)? And are there any "tried-and-true" strategies for playing movements between/out of/into sectors?

    Huge spread

I actually killed myself last week when a stock had a 1.15 spread. I didn't know the spread could get that large so my mind saw a 0.15 spread and I wiped out all my gains for the last two weeks. Learning the hard way...Thx.

    Huge spread

I'm a newbie and am looking at ALOG. It has a spread of 36.80 and 37.61 (using IB BEST). What causes this kind of large difference? I've seen this a few times and don't know what to make of it. How can you tell if it means more selling or buying pressure? Is there any way to take advantage...

I believe it comes with AmiBroker which is around $60 one-time.

    IB Woes

I'm a newbie that patiently saved up 2k to send to IB after spending a few months developing a dozen or so swing-type trading systems. I realize the $ amount is pitiful, but not really when you consider that I only want to do non-options trading and I backtested on SnP500 stocks (including...
