Market action appears similar to yesterday - down for most of day, then rally during last hour or 30 minutes. If ES cannot hold 856/858 then today will be different, more likely a SDD day, with possible target of 846 or lower I still think there is some tax loss selling but not as much...

869 to 874 is a zone of confluence - 874 being a key pivot area, PP at 872, POC at 869 856/858 another important support area, then 852 890/891 resistance, R2 at 911

Excellent Professor. Good vino helps, my preference being a robust, hearty shiraz or merlot. As for market during these last days of a year to remember, I think the path of least resistance is down, real hard down. If not, I will wait for the rally and short heavily all the way to end of...

Noted in the 11:47 update that the index was probing a support zone (870/868 session low 871) amid low volume and suggested watching for some stabilization near midday. The index did put together a choppy bounce but has thus far stalled at intraday resistance mentioned at 877 (rebound high 877)...

I think the rest of the year will be more volatile than normal. On balance, if volume is higher than normal then markets are likely to go down hard. But, if volume is thinner than normal then they can take it past SPX 1000. I would prefer the latter because it provides great...

dropped out of triangle Bearish if MACD crosses MACD avg, all below zero line Momentum oscillator at important juncture - can cross over zero or backdown again, signifying a pullback in the downtrend. Hull avg hasn't turned down but could do so if ES drops another 5 points or so.
