That sure didn't help however if they would have beat by .25 they wouldn't have sold off. the only reason being, The company's guidance usually comes at or under certain targets and is deemed overly conservative.

You are correct but even if they would have reported in line with guidance, aapl would still have reacted liked so. Believe me, a beat of .22 was a must. There average beat over is at least .20 for many years.
