    IB has decades of experience with electronic markets. You'd need to some pretty experienced market people with the ability to code to replicate their system. Pretty tall order. But it would be nice to see some competition.

    If you only traded SPY options, would it make sense to go with the lowest commissions

    Wow MBT is that cheap? too bad they dont take Canadians or I'd open an account. Anyways, I use IB and love them. ES is not nearly as fluid and tight as the SPY. I trade both but prefer SPY generally.

    Trading Movies?

    I just watched that flick today. I found it pretty lame. Capital City the TV series was based off it. The TV series is much better. The amusing thing is they used the trading floor set from the movie in the TV series.

    Should there be an /ES gap on my chart

    ES contracts change on the third week of the month, every quarter. So the ES will shift to the December contract the third week of September. The gap is related to the labor day holiday.
