    Do you see value in using TT over IB TWS if you are a simple directional trader? Or does the value come in when trading multiple mkts/spreads arbing etc? It does look like a slick pkg.

    Yes. You can daytrade any futures market. The 25k rule applies only to the equity markets.

    Yes this is the only drawback to using IB if you are Canadian that I can see. As no such rule exists in Canada as of yet.

    I'm looking at foreign markets as well. Obviously connectivity and data integrity issues are my main concern. CQG or ESignal seem to be good candidates for relaible data.

    Gonna jump; need advice

    My question is if you have a strategy why are you asking if you should go prop or not? The strategy should either favor prop or not. Simple. Otherwise if you want to trade, and you love to trade go for it. There is never a "right" time to jump in. Cheers

    Esignal vs. Qcharts.

    I read a post from EQ owner they were looking into 2 other feeds(either of which is Esignal). They said it would take a major rewrite of their software so they would be making their decisions very carefully.(read slowly). So bottom line there is hope for an ideal feed AND an ideal front end.
