    it's quite ironic that IB got nailed for what is essentially a human input error, when their whole business model is built on automation. I'm surprised they were fined at all with all the disclaimers in their forms.

    Perhaps. What is really scary is how they could award him 2.4 mil vs his total loss of 22.7 mil. So was IB just "sorta" responsible? I don't like it.

    You get quotes starting @ 4am to 8pm for US mkts with IB. I forget which exchanges though. You can search IB site for it I think.
