    Cryptocurrency and potential marketcap

Although there can be made an infinite number of Cryptocurrency variations. You have to understand that the MINERS have the power to make or break it. Not the market, not the pump-and-dump speculators/investors... no the Miners decide to which Network they point their hugely expensive mining...

Bitcoin is too volatile to be taken seriously

You don't need leverage with these huge jumps up and down....and as I said: we are still on the left-side of the S-curve...only when we enter the right-side it will behave as a real currency (which will take some more years....so enjoy the ride...). (If you don't know what an S-curve means...

Bitcoin is too volatile to be taken seriously

volatility is a traders dream...(not that good for a currency, but to be expected as we are still on the left-side of the S-curve). I personally hope it will fall a bit more, to buy even cheaper..but I guess Monday the big guys will not let that happen.

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

The production of new coins, is halved every few years. Now we get 25 coins per 10 minutes, it was 50 before, and will be 12.5 in 2016, until 2140 new coins in free float will be less and less. That's for me a deflation-property (in contrary to what the FED and any other Central-bank does...

Sure, they are scarred as hell. And already feel the heat (just watch what their stock-price is doing latterly). They cannot stop this decentralized world-wide phenom. Only good thing would be to Join it (which I guess they will do). Where do you have your information from? You only have...

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

This bubble is more or less coded in the Protocol. To make it possible to make it mainstream and to adopt it by as many Miners as possible it has an build-in deflation property as incentive.

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

We all agree that there will be crashes and volatility, and many crypto-currencies will simply die. Still one or a few will survive, innovate and become mainstream.

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

Let me give you an example what happened to me a few weeks ago. A good friend Skyped me from South Africa (he emigrated a few years back from the Netherlands), and at some point Bitcoin was discussed. I explained him some of the benefits, and then he asked me if he could use it for...

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

You constantly mix up two things. The word Bitcoin, is used for a Currency as well as a Protocol. It would have been much better if Satoshi named both things differently, but he hasn't....

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

You don't understand what an S-curve investment means. This virtual-currency adoption is an S-curve, and quite normal (and yes crashes, volatility, greed and fear and even dead, are all normal phenomenons inside the S-curve as well). If you are "open" to learn what an S-curve is, then please...

'Litecoin Is Silver To Bitcoin's Gold' — Here's What That Actually Means

I see it like this: there is one protocol (HTTP/HTML for internet compares to the Crypto-currencies-protocol), and on that there are many business models using that protocol (Google, Youtube, FaceBook, etc, compared to all the crypto-currencies, payment-processors, escrow-services...
