Sure, let me get on that ET180 and give away my entire option value, of whatever you option pro's like to call it. :)

So, you are saying that you are convinced QQQ is going up from here? :)

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

LOL, what "solution"? They are doing what I expected them to do. They may expire worthless, but that is what it is, why the "solution" LOL?

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

Robert, much thanks. Oh, I understand them generally, well enough for them to serve as my hedge. Its those nuances I was not sure about, which you helped answer. So I can just sit tight and end up with a QQQ short, that is perfect. Thanks!!!

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

Ah, so if I don't want to exercise early I can just sit tight and let them expire and I'll still get paid the amount they were in the money in cash? Thanks!

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

I think some just pay out in cash, others you literally lose completely. Hence my question, don't want to piss my money away any more than I've already done in the market LOL.

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

My account is saying worth $1639 each. But with my luck the market will rally and they will expire worthless. :) I did some "buy-wrights" back in the day, but that was selling calls, not buying puts. First time buying puts I think.

    So I have a few June 17, 2022 QQQ 300 puts...

I bought these way back when. Unless the market turns up soon they might expire in the money. Do I need to formally exercise these to collect? Or if I don't will they just settle in cash? If I need to exercise them, what the heck do I do? Just call my broker and say go ahead and exercise...

    QQQ P/E ratio of 3.77?

Interesting Overnight. What does that mean, exactly? I mean, I think TTM means, generally, "over the past 12 month period, whatever that period was". But what does "PM Ratio (TTM)" as Yahoo uses it mean exactly? Whatever it means, how can the 3.81 number make a lick of sense? Thanks.

Bear thesis looks fkd for tomorrow

    I thought a +0 would be you bet $1000, win $1000? +100 would be (I thought) bet $1000 win $1100? I am sure I am wrong LOL.

Bear thesis looks fkd for tomorrow

You mean if you bet $1000 and warriors win, pay out is $100? What are the Mavs? +80 or something?

    QQQ P/E ratio of 3.77?

While that would indeed be the right time to buy, I would have bought several hundred points higher and be utterly broke by then. :)

    QQQ P/E ratio of 3.77?

Haha thanks guys. I didn't think that was right, given how PEs have been out of control for years.

    QQQ P/E ratio of 3.77?

That is what yahoo finance is telling me: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/QQQ?p=QQQ&.tsrc=fin-srch Is that right? Seems this is some DEEP value territory if so. Sure, in a recession earnings will go down, but cut them in half and its still a PE of 8. But is that right?

Hedging a short UVXY position over the summer. How best?

If you are short UVXY you are short volatility no? Can't you just buy VIXY in the right amount to go long volatility, in the right $ amount, to even them out roughly? I forget the ratios for UVXY and VIXY, I thought UVXY was supposed to be like 150% the VIX but that might have changed.

Can't believe the market lost +4% today!

LOL, indeed. But something tells me just a FEW more details are needed to implement maxinger's strategy LOL.

Do you chart-only readers thing stonks would have tanked today if retail had not dissapointed?

For people that only go by chart readings, and think they are the be all and end all, do you really think that stonks would have tanked they way they did today if the retail sales numbers had not disappointed? I don't think today's drop was precipitated by prior price action, but instead the...

    Russian Shorts Screwed

Damn, that would suck. I used to shorty UVXY a good bit, and SQQQ as well. Still have some short, but let them run down. Don't think I'll be doing that any more, I'll just continue letting them run down. Too darn much risk...
