I-Watch, Anyone using this to advantage?

I looked at this a couple of years ago. I couldn't determine any correlation between what I saw here and market moves for the day... may be better for a longer timeframe.

    Amazing Real Estate Valuation Site

Man, I hope the guy I sold my last house to doesn't see this. He bought it in May 05 and paid last month's price! (which is about 5% more :D )

Don's Openings and More for 2006

You could cancel your outstanding orders once you reach your BP limits, but the downside of that is that some of the best OPG's open late.

Peer Review of a Strategy Without Disclosure

I like this solution the best, But in general, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by providing it to others. If it works for you trade it. If you don't have enough $$$ to trade it like you want on your own, then I guess I could see where this would be beneficial. If you want to...

    GYM clears your mind

You'll miss out on various opportunities by leaving then. There are enveloping opportunities, breakouts, and news plays. Stay the day and hit the gym at 4pm... you'll still beat the crowds and it's a good way to work off the built up stress for the day (particularly if you can take it out on...

Need a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range

I definitely agree with you on the volatility of the breakout bar. In this case, the bar just before the breakout price did had a volume that was TWICE the volume of all the bars for the prior 30 minutes COMBINED! But it's still something that Trade-Ideas didn't pick up. Cash

Need a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range

Nana, Sorry again. Not sure where my head is today! At least I got the year right, which is doing good for the first couple weeks of the year! Yes, you have the right one. Cash

Need a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range

I think we're talking about different things. The breakout I see occured around 11am and the stock broke out from a 6 cents range that it had been in for about a 1/2 hour. Again, this is in UNF on 1/1/06

Need a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range

Sorry, typo... it was in UNF, not UNT. I could have a program written to do that, but why re-invent the wheel if you don't need to? Cash

Morgan fires 4 after strip club visit

Boy, if they had this attitude at some of the prop firms offices I know, they'd have to fire pretty much the whole staff!

Need a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range

I'm looking for a program that finds intraday breakouts from a tight range in real-time. Trade-Ideas has something like this, but their stuff is statistically volume based and I want it regardless of volume. Take a look at UNT on 01/06/06 at about 11am and you'll see the kind of thing I'm...

Whats the fastest way to lose your money?

Take everything you got, liquidate it, take the money to Vegas, walk up to the high rollers roullette wheel. Place everything on your favorite number and order a drink. If you win, repeat as needed. You'll lose it all before you're drunk enough to numb the pain.

Don's openings and more for 2005

Took a hit on the energy sector today. Some days they're great, some days they suck. Haven't yet seen a pattern yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on playing this group as OPG's? Cash

Don's openings and more for 2005

Spunky, First let me preface this by saying that I'm probably going to be lambasted for this post because I'm with Bright Trading. But even if I wasn't, I'd be saying the same thing. FIRST, Spunky, at the time of this post, you have posted 4 times. I think before calling someone to the...

Don's openings and more for 2005

Some people use the P&L monitor, but I find that to be lacking. Suppose a stock spikes up 30c and then retraces 15c while you aren't looking at it. Now you look at it and think "OK, I'm up 15c in that stock" when in reality, you actually just gave up half your profit on that stock! RediPlus...
