I think that would be ideal. I'll ask them about that. I'm really looking to be able to get in and out of my trades fast. The ECN costs is something I can bare for now as long as I'm getting the fills I need on my trades.

Thanks will do. Although, reducing cost isn't my main focus when selecting the route. I'm mostly interested in my orders getting filled at the current price. As I grow in order size I would like my orders to get filled as much as possible. With a good route this shouldn't be an issue considering...

I meant to say prop firm. I'm with a prop firm for now. I didn't count the exact number but from a quick look at the routing list there are at least 60 routes on the platform.

Will go with the adapter you recommended! :) Found 7 reviews on amazon for stock traders that have used it and all where 5 stars. While on the other one I had seen I found nothing from traders. Although it might also work just fine there is no reason to take the risk. Once again thank you!

Thanks! Really do appreciate your good advice. Yeah at one point I had too much free time on vacation and I ended up overtrading and just making horrible trades. So definitely I feel that my part time trading is much more disciplined than trying to go full time at this point.

Yeah I was just comparing reviews and they both look great! Just checked on my laptop that in fact it has two BLUE usb ports on it. So for now I think this should suffice for my trading days. In the future when I become a full time trader I will definitely follow your advice for the trading...

So for my style of trading I'm currently just needing to hookup two extra monitors for my laptop. After plugging one in through the HDMI it is perfect. For the second extra monitor I would need an HDMI to USB graphics adapter right? On Amazon I see they are around 50 dollars.

Well the laptop I currently have is an i7 5500 processor and has an Nvidia 940 graphics card. It is sold for about 700. Shouldn't this laptop be good enough to support just two extra monitors without shortening it's lifetime dramatically?
