    IB and QT Integration Screenshot/Funtionality

Cool. Now, are you planning to add a support for the combination and OCA orders, something like in Bracket Trader? That would make your already excellent software even better. I would rather run one program that can do charting and serve as a trading platform than two separate programs...

    Need technical #'s for S&P 500

If you use basic algebra, you can answer this question yourself. Your formula for R2 agrees with his formula for R2, his formula for S2 is wrong as I just pointed out. I believe your formula for S2 is correct, but did not verify it, it just looks like that.

    Need technical #'s for S&P 500

    So, S2=P - R2 - S1 =P-(P - S1 + R1)-S1=P-P+S1-R1-S1=-R1. Nonsense, S2 is a negative number, if R1 is a positive number, which it obviously is!

    TIMES and S & P E-mini

So simplicity rules here again, not so surprising, my favorite system has only one entry condition that boils down to comparing two numbers (most of the time) which you know a day before you place your entry. You could improve the system by entering early in the trend by chosing the entry...

    TIMES and S & P E-mini

As long as it is divergent from a common sense it can actully work. :D

Oh yeah, anything from Yahoo Finance could be used as a contrarian indicator.

    setup multiple monitors for laptops

actually tried this solution? I mean a laptop with at least 2 additional monitors using the Appian card. I am considering buying a laptop with Windows XP and would like to get it connected to my 3 monitors, or at least to 2 of them. Thanks.

Any Prop Firms in NYC That Can Do H1 Visas?

What hardship are you talking about? You mean they get unemployment benefits or something like that? No at all, they are not entitled to that. In fact by staying in this country and spending money here they can only help the local economy.

Any Prop Firms in NYC That Can Do H1 Visas?

It used to be like that. It's not anymore. Unemployment means that also H1 visa workers don't get jobs.

    The Importance of Simplicity II

You can have 50 ma on a 1 min chart and on a daily chart, the timeframes here are 1 min and 1 day. So what do you want to trade using this system? 20 pt stop-loss for ES is pretty big, less so for NQ, even for swing trading, I would say, at least for ES.

    The Importance of Simplicity II

What is this system for? 20 pts stop loss? That's pretty generous of you.

what do you guys think about this?

I understand what he means, but I cannot explain this in a few words. Let me only explain the nonlinearity part. Linearity means that the addition principle hold. If you have a linear operator L and it acts on something, let's call it x and y then here is what happens: L(x+y)=Lx+Ly...

    Will war actually be bullish?

Well, I did not want to say this myself because most pro-war people tend to be sensitive on the issue of who is doing the fighting and who is just watching. :D

    Whoa Baby! What happened?

I had an order to sell stop @854.75 that day. I cancelled it about 4 PM because I did not expect the market to get to this level, plus it was rising at that time, but still far away from my entry, and not declining. However, I wonder if my order would have gotten filled on the way up or...

Why Are The French So Anti????

Yep, that's the strongest argument so far for this war from a truly enlightened mind. I am for now too. :D Enough for today. 3 months from now, I bet everyone will think that the French were much smarter than they seem to be today.

Better watch futures... they do not look very bullish to all pro-war people...

    Will war actually be bullish?

If America is too active the same will happen, except that faster. America's power has been seriously questioned after the 9/11 (failure of US intelligence) and the last military operation in Afganistan. Starting a war is easy, it's ending it that is always a bigger problem. How many...

    Will war actually be bullish?

Which makes you wonder who and what really was behind 9/11 and why the US intelligence failed so miserably to warn the nation about the attack. The war with Iraq is not going to remove the thread of future terrorist attacks, in fact they are even more likely to happen as a revenge for this war.

    Will war actually be bullish?

Oil reserves are not unlimited. A war is not a substitute to oil alternatives that this nation and the world has to come up with sooner or later. Wasting money on any war is utterly stupid and shortsighted. One should spend this money on research that would lead to oil alternatives or to better...
