Stupid question, but when you do this, does your ISP know you are running two computers? (i.e. is there some sort of computer tag that they track)? My ISP charges extra for more than one connection. Jay

I launch at the upper Kanaha lot and just do a few really long reaches upwind once my gear is dialed. I like the grass, lack of attitude, and auto safety there. I use more of a B&J board, so no upwind problems for me. Jay

This was the problem. IB is fully aware of it. Why they don't inform clients of this is beyond me.

Happened to me three times today. I think I figured it out. Only stops that are created through auto stop, or attach stop seem to be affected. Creating stops as a separate order seem to work fine when you modify the price. Jay

My IB fills are less than ONE second. I'm sure its the same with advanced too, unless you have a slow net line. Jay

Over 90% profitable. Amazing. I patterned my trading after his and improved markedly. He trades pullbacks or fades overdone markets (I just trade pullbacks). I only ave around 50% winners, but trading pullbacks has greatly improved my risk/reward (always 1/2 min). Jay

Don't go near Man! Many screwed up trades due to their awful execution software. They often report fills next day when software says you are flat. 5 per side is a Man IB. Steer clear. Worst FCM I have ever dealt with in 15 years and at least a dozen brokers.

For trading in general, almost anything. For day trading: beans and crude (and natural gas nowdays) are prolly the most active of the physical commods. Gold is doable now also.

Many people here have over a decade full time trading. There are some serious pros here, and many rookies. The pros who work from home need contact with others, so they use message boards at times for the fun of it. Who would trade for a decade if they couldn't make a living off it? Jay
