Austrian economics = faulty due to paradox

No, it's a sign of that I don't feel like wasting the time to explain something that actually a significant amount of time. You two do not even have the first idea of how lending is done under a 100% fractional reserve system. A form of it still exists today, look up hard money lenders...

Austrian economics = faulty due to paradox

You just proved you do not know what you are talking about. I was planning to respond to your other post with a serious discussion but it's pointless. Your internet example is not relevant, but that's besides the point. You don't want a discussion, you just want to continue deluding yourself...

History of money, history of banks, history of credit, interest, loans, defaults, history of the term "moneychangers". T Do you even know where the first central bank ever came about? Or how? Do you even know that fractional reserve banking used to be ILLEGAL, and for good reasons? How...

Austrian economics = faulty due to paradox

Cause under Austrian methodologies, you can't make unlimited riches via being a money changer. You actually have to work for it. And if you do finance & trading type activities, it is due to it being needed, not due to excess of credit.

Austrian economics = faulty due to paradox

No, it's based on history. And if you look deeper, past the Tulip mania, you will find some very interesting stories of certain individuals showing up in towns & villages, setting up shop, getting into the credit game, blowing it up, then contracting it and then being lyunched or run out of...

Why isn't big timer COX fired!

I mean really, I figured this out within a year once I had to actually deal with SEC by paying their excessive fees and then taking notice of how they spend them while noting blatant insider trading by the specialists. Read "Wall Street Jungle" on a reccomendation, it documents the croneyism...

Cox should be hanged for X the uptick rule

He used to frontrun order flow from Goldman Sachs, fed to him by his buddies. Once that got some heat, surprise, he shut down his fund. Not exactly a complicated strategy.

Wait a minute... did the fed say its going to extend credit to households?

Hell fucking yeah. Count me in. I'm ready to borrow boatloads. I'm not ready to repay it though, but why should that be an issue. It was not for the big boys.

Wait a minute... did the fed say its going to extend credit to households?

Uhm, you're very confused. Neither Demos or Reps had anything to do with it. Only real legislation that contributed was de-regulation allowing retail & investment banks to be one entity. More importantly, it was the Federal Reserve recognizing CDS & similiar derivatives (CMS, CDOs, MBSes...
