Well I got nice A ups across the board today along with confirming weekly A ups. Here are my 5 day number lines which are nearly all in agreement with the weekly confirmations. DIA 3 SPY 3 IJH 0 IJR 4 IYT-2 Is everyone else seeing similar to me?

It certainly seems to be following your prediction so far Mav. DIA SPY IJH IJR IYT are all showing -2 on the 30 day lines and have all confirmed monthly A downs. It will get interesting if we have the rate hike then confirm the weekly A ups next week.

Are you using a % of the QTR ATR for these levels or % of a daily ATR? For example for my weekly A levels I use a % of a 20 week ATR, for monthly A levels I use a % of the monthly ATR. I am not to sure what others here are using and I don't really think it matters provided you understand your...

I am quite certain that these news sources use triggers based on either opening gap, %change or price levels. One would have to imply that these new stories are pre-written and standing by for one of the aforementioned triggers to be released.

I always see the press as doing a very good job in hindsight reporting, which sometimes helps to push sentiment to extremes an takes prices along with it. I guess you could call it a feedback loop where the more the news goes round the more negative the market becomes. Have a look at this link...

Just noticed I forgot to post I killed my SPY position at a 1.50$ loss but still holding ford.

Buying SPY @ 205.35 might add a little if it drops lower

Going to hold off a little might be able to get some a bit cheaper soon.

This has been noted by many security conferences since as far back as 2013. quite surprised 60 minutes has only just covered it.

So that sucks all closed for an overall loss of -$3.01. Guess its back to sitting on my hands again :-(
