Maybe, maybe not. It is not uncommon for a new option account to be set up wrong. The call might be a mistake. BTW, If you bought a butterfly spread on SPX, the strikes are all 5 points wide. That means that it can't be a $1.00 fly. It has to be in increments of 5 points.

What option level are you approved for? Maybe you are not approved for spreads.

I can't tell you what to trade, but I would start with one future, but watch as many as you want. Do test trades (not real) in the others and see what gives you a better risk/reward.

I thought they were referring to excess margin for day traders. We still offer up to 4X for futures and still offered it today.

We did not suspend intraday trading and I used my CME Direct platforms at 2am and 4am with no issues with my account at Lightspeed/Wedbush.
