I am interested in the age of traders and when they started,i started trading when i was 43 over 3 years ago. Is their an age when it is to late to learn,ie. you cant teach an old dog new tricks. In my first 2 years i was down as much as $80k but got it all back in my third year of trading...

So does this mean that we cannot rely on any indicators we may see on anyones softwear,i would have thought this was a major big deal,it certainly would be if everyones chart were showing different prices at the same time. I would have thought we all want ma,stochastics etc to be in sync also.

Jay thanks for replying In the main i am happy with e signal and i originally moved over to you from q charts because something happened to make me feel your data was more reliable(long story) You mentioned you get what you pay for and that their are cheaper and dearer competitors...

We are using the same contract ES M3,i am not sure what you mean by your first question but i can tell you we checked a couple of stocks as well with similar differences.

I use a 20 period ema on a 5 min chart for the s&p e minis. My friend has the same set up with q charts. I was just on the phone to him when i realized we have 2 different readings,my price was below the ma his was above. I have gone over and over it has my friend to check we have done...

I used to have freeze up problems with e signal on a regular basis,it seems to have cleared up now,i dont know wether that was because of the latest version or because i kept taking my computer back as i thought it was because of my quad card and other thing i had to rule out...what a nightmare...
