Closed at 83.24 Got a long signal on an automated ES system that is a pretty good short term indicator. Going to look for a higher entry point to short CL. Maybe near bottom of the OR (83.60-83.70).

they don't until they do they haven't mattered because of the presumption that spring would change the fundamentals picture...if that doesn't start to get born out, fundamentals could start to matter. anyway, i think it looks both technically and fundamentally weak.

terrible inventory report...also facing a post-volcano report next week amazing how strong it stays...would think we would get a stronger selloff. we'll see.

must not have been good closed that one contract i shorted this morning probably just wait for the dust to settle now...don't really feel comfortable shorting this puppy even though i'm pessimistic.

Still more surprising weakness in ES. Going to look to get short in the 84.50 area if the opportunity presents itself again.

With regard to the report today, i saw similar numbers as you have reported but also with imports being way down. I won't vouch for that as I saw the info second hand. API data seems reasonably unreliable anyway. That aside, i wasn't referencing today's data so much as some info i saw...

DNDN will sell off on the news, if not worse. I say this after having made a huge amount on holding DNDN from 23 to 36 recently. Save my butt, in fact. But this is a sell the news event. There might, and i mean only maybe, be a spike on the initial approval, but it will be short lived...
