    Northern Rock Is Finished

Very, very true. Hooray Henries with young busty Penny in tow are just not cut out for this. You need tongue in cheek Essex boys and a couple of Old hands to keep things under control. Doing things by the rules and following status quo is what often brings trouble. Go stand outside Moorgate...

    Northern Rock Is Finished

Whats a bit more surprising is that AL.L and BB.L have not followed suit. BB.L under its various mortgage broker guises has about 15% of the Joe Six Pack speculative buy-to-lets market BB-. Having said that am sure glad to be holding onto my shorts, only thing that l do not understand is that...

New York buyers pay $200,000 for car space...WTF people.

Chelsea SW London has seen garages exchange for around £75 000 (about USD$ 150 000 ). At my old apartment block they used to go for 25k. http://www.findaproperty.com/displayprop.aspx?edid=00&salerent=0&pid=884895&agentid=08020

Why were neither of these red hammers reversals? (pic)

The MARKET is not obliged to follow, conform or accept your analysis of it. Different market particpants will view identical data in an array of formations and with equally fascinating formulae, analytics, display formats and mysticism. Whilst candlesticks, may provide you with worthwhile trading...

I have no problem with bull markets or bear markets

l used to prefer bear markets as they helped with my manic depressive personality, also l started trading in 2001, so l used to have a psychological bias towards bearish environments...

Can you believe, someone published my trading system, SO ANGRY

l suspect you are a retail trader. Do you realise how insignificant you thoughts, actions and behaivour is to other market participants ? As long as you can pay your fees and commissions 99.99% of institutions, people or traders would care less whether you used neural networks or ancient mystic...

Quick Question- At what price do the curbs kick in?

I hope you guys are joking in your posts, but if you are serious then l would be a bit worried, just a bit... Never ever trade an instrument if you do not know how its cleared, settled and its main regulatory ( FSA, SEC e.t.c ) trading rules. See link below...

Commercials sitting on largest net long SP500 Future position in years

True, COT needs to be viewed with a very open mind, in some markets like silver, ETF's (classified as Commercials) are carrying about 15%, skewing data as they are long only at all times. But having seen the nonsense on here on elitetrader.com , l am quite sure using Small Spec as an indicator...

    Daytrading 1999-2000

1999-2000 l was barely 19, at University and was attending some professional courses on Finance as a sideline, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I saw the final phase of a bull market and a full bear swing that decimated a few people l knew. I quickly respected the market place...

    Trading Hong Kong Stocks

Actually they will allow you to open accounts. Not to mention the young sweet voiced female brokers...

    Chinese Market Implosion

Remember most non-Chinese have had to play this game through Hong Kong via H-share IPO's for better returns (IPO's that double :D - greed ?), only to swallow a 20% + depreciation in the Hong Kong Dollar (tricky to hedge as well). The bigger boys with deeper pockets(£100mil +) have been doing...

Good online broker to trade lumber options?

Unless you have been threatned imprisonment and sharing a cell with a 7ft 300 pound guy call Jack, l would stay clear of Lumber. l admit its sometimes a nice mover (daily charts) its liquidity is not really worth it . Same as things like pork bellies or Sugar #14 contract, its best staying clear...
