Mentorship (4th year still not profitable)

Thank you for your reply. I was brining up investing in Berkshire for 30 to 40 years as an example of a plan the the average guy who wants to be involved in the market would be far more likely to be successful with. From your posts I can see you are not the average guy who sees himself as a...

Mentorship (4th year still not profitable)

I have no argument for those of this mindset if they understand both themselves and The Game well. A small number of skilfull active traders will do extremely well: Jim Simons, Stanley Druckenmiller and Blair Hull took their early trading experiences and built empires. The early SOES Bandits...

Mentorship (4th year still not profitable)

I lke most of your posts but disagree here. Being long Berkshire Hathaway or low fee ETF's have done OK over 40 year periods and figures to be better than (for most people) day trading, especially in a tax efficient retirement account. *certainly a lower wipe out risk for most people.

Mentorship (4th year still not profitable)

The mentor method is the best method for most: Hooking up with a current winner and adding value is the way to go, if you can. Develop personal relationships with winners. (Paid gurus-for-hire rarely works out) "Be around people whose behaviors are better than yours and you will drift in...

By day trading, is it really impossible to get a 3% return every day without fail?

3% a day? Ha ha.. that would be a huge edge if you manage your risks so as not to bow up

    Trading while undergoing chemotherapy

Intermittent fasting before chemo starts has been shown to increase success and lessen side effects, statistically. This means dropping ones calories to under 500 a day. Of course: Double check with your physician before you do this.

Amazing. I’ve tried to give away my methodology...

Something like that happened to me with online poker many years ago. Only one friend listened, shadowed my play and then crushed her games many levels lower for an excellent living. Everyone else noded, agreed but kept to their old ways, lost their ass-- and then one even tried to borrow money.

    Trading the DOM/Tape/Order flow

All of your ideas about Algos are not accurate. Algos make trading harder and they rule micro-trading. Algos will get better and better and one day they figure to do almost everything better than humans in most areas of life. It would make no sense that Algos have no detrimental effect on...

Trading couple for 3 years are harassed by UBS Bahamas, your help will bring victory

Yes: We should all read between the lines the best we can. We should all look for strength of ideas. You were asking about why I mentioned things like sharp followers and Likes, which I think can be a guide to newer traders.

Good points. I will elaborate on my thoughts: I have found a few hidden gems who rarely post and have few Likes and you can too! I have developed email relationshipso with a few and learned some good things from them! However, If you find value in a post are you moved to Like it? Many are...

How to find a guide For trading

You have the right idea: Be around winners who know how to win right now! This is your best chance. _______ Paid gurus-for-hire is rarely the way. Many won years ago but can not win now and some never won. Also..many prop firms have busted traders who owe the firm money teaching what they can...

    Mentoring JL

Wow. If you look through my comments today you will see a number are on older posts, something I often do when researching ideas. In your last posts you appear to be acting like an expert when you use the words "stalking" and "creeping". In other posts, you aggressively attack other people...
