yeah, the idea is to have everything bigger. I'm tired of looking at small letters on a 19". that seems to be the consensus, not good for a desk/up close viewing. another idea is to run a USB hub 8-10 feet to the couch for keyboard/mouse/gamepad, and trade from the couch?

don't know about westinghouse. I saw some WH sets at Sams club and Best Busys, and the picture looks faded. real bland colors. The Sony Bravia 46 blows me away. Sharp is not bad either. but yeah, saw a best buy demo of 1080p on blue ray. pretty amazing.

while we're at it, might as well get a quad 46" setup on wall mounts. wouldn't that be something. the trading station may start to look like the NORAD control room.

lol, I guess the ultimate would be to have a dual monitor setup with two 46" LCD's.

Ah, but with a 46 LCD you can play Madden NFL on it or watch TV with it when the market is closed.

Anyone ever try using a big screen LCD TV as a computer monitor? the new ones run at 1920x1080, so in theory you get a bigger desktop. any opinions? too big? hard on the eyes?

I have IB, but I'm topping out with the 100 symbol limit. so would like to get more symbols. but since I have this info already, I don't want to pay too much if possible. it's too bad IB doesn't let you buy more data lines except through more commissions. and even then, it's not too many extra...

I have an IB account that lets you have 2x overnight margin, 4x daytrading margin. anyone know if it's possible to get 4x overnight margin? if no, does anyone know a broker who will let you have 4x overnight margin? Thanks in advance

can anyone recommend any good technical analysis scanning programs? or know if Tradestation can scan the market for you? I'd like to find a program or service where I would enter in the parameters of a chart I like, say a cup and handle, and have the program scan for that pattern, ie down 10-20%...
