    just to follow up.. when the ES spiked up (huge move) .. the pattern simply vanished on my chart. obviously, this indicator will take some practice. apparently, it will plot on the last bar as long as it is within parameters.. but will delete itself when price moves outside the pattern. pretty cool.

    yes.. i use 24h charts. that 1 was 1800v thanks! (the signal is in progress then) :) *well, technically, it was invalidated..had a tail pop up past the x-point

    thanks for the interesting analysis philly. :) i've looked at a few web sites about these patterns and noticed that the bullish gartley's seem to point up slightly, and vice-versa for bearish ones. is that just a coincidence in the ones i happened to see? or.. is it a matter of the way...

    well, for example.. this chart is a 3600v nq. bars print about every 1-3 minutes. 3600 is 9 times slower than 400v i think. please, don't allow me to tinker w/ your trading. that's not my intent. bb
