Mom and pop investors pile into stocks as some fund managers move out

Whatever I do will be the wrong thing. I'm scared to death this is the end of the looong bull market. So given that signal at worse we'll probably be only down a few percent for the next few months, maybe even back up significantly. But I just got them bad feelings in my bones.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Yea, S2007S, I saw that: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-stock-market-meltup-is-over-morgan-stanley-2018-03-19 What always pisses me off is that when the market plunges then they release some article about how something was a bad sign before the crash. Here, it was gross leverage...

If VIX is a measure of implied volatility in S&P options...

Wouldnt the obvious strategy be the buy options, probably super long term ones, when VIX is low, and sell them when VIX is high? Anyone know of any studies on this? Thanks.

So with this mini-crash, or whatever you want to call it, in early February, just reading the various threads on ET I noticed that there were SO MANY bears at the end of it. Some bulls, but mainly bears. Not just commenting on it, but actually placing bets to the short side. What did the...

What was that fund with the long volatility but long equity position?

If you can essentially go long volatility for free, you could make a freaking killing on the next downturn. Like, use that strategy until VIX hits like 35 or 40, then go short volatility about half...
