It looks like the S&P futures are up vis-a-vis their close yesterday, despite the huge hit to the market today. I take it that is a good sign for the longs - that the market sees today's hit as only rather temporary? Thanks.

Where do you guys look to get your futures quotes, as far as free online quotes? I'm trying to see what the futures are doing. They don't look like they are down much at all where I'm seeing, including here: https://www.barchart.com/futures/quotes/ES*0/all-futures

In the ETF forum I had asked about going long SVXY/XIV, or shorting UVXY/TVIX. Someone made the comment as to whether I had compared the possible returns (and risk) to buying ES futures - the latter he said had better results. Might someone explain to me how that would work? Thanks!
