The best delta for a credit spread?

what you've found on the exchange website is probably as good an answer as any you'll get here imho spend your time and effort learning to trade the underlying. once you get to a point where you can trade the underlying profitably using your approach you can start thinking about incorporating...

Does leverage magnify the commission I must pay my broker?

good question albeit awkwardly phrased leverage, in a traditional sense, magnifies transaction costs as a % of your stake that’s an often overlooked impact of gearing

Marking swing highs and lows non discretionary?

nice i thought markov was ‘memoryless’(whatever that means) while martingale was conditional on previous values

Marking swing highs and lows non discretionary?

not an expert on this but price development through time oscillates between resembling martingale and markov. never really becoming one or the other completely.

I feel like fundamental analysis is completely useless

it’s the stonks that shoot to the moon, not the companies link between the underlying business/company and its stock is elastic the company and the stock are connected by a very elastic rubber band that rubber band is being stretched pretty hard right now by central bank activities

    T3 Trading Group

imo that's one of the two benefits of going with an arcade like T3. you will have someone looking over your shoulder so you are less likely to self destruct. that's a valuable service. the other benefit is leverage but all of that comes at a price

    T3 Trading Group

back in 2005 i spent some time at a similar arcade in nyc - Dimension which i think was bought out by T3 they are not in the trading business per se. meaning their revenues are 99% fees, not profit share they provide encouragement, appearance of a professional trading floor, some coaching...

I have decided to put a significant amount of my money with AMP

amp is like a girl who invites a guy over to fool around and when the guy drops his pants and the girl sees his ‘account size’ she backs off. it’s fcuk or walk

I have decided to put a significant amount of my money with AMP

it would be nuts for amp to give you 800 per es in a $2M account given that they have $5M in net capital unless the owner likes sitting on a powder keg
  15. S

    AMP, how could you?

very unlikely no broker would close an account for that reason unless they were flagged by the exchange. if that was the case he would have gotten warnings prior to getting the boot. from a risk perspective getting rid of his account was the right move. you cant have tiny day trading margins...

    AMP, how could you?

amp is not capitalized well enough to keep your account. you’re too big as % of their capital - they would have to pony up more risk capital to keep you as a client. and with recent volatility regulators are probably looking more closely at stuff like that.
