I would agree with your gut.

After yesterdays up move todays low seems like a great way to extend an up move next week. I wouldn't be surprised to see some sideways action on monday with people waiting with itchy trigger fingers to pile on a breakout. But who knows. Just a guess.

Very interesting. So does that mean a stop loss is fixed and purely a function of money management? And if it doesn't get hit you have some sort of signal for a reversal which gets you out with a profit?

To be fair, it hasn't been proven that 95% of traders lose, and even if so, why they lose. It could be lack of edge, lack of discipline, or lack of money management. It's not neccesarily that 95% of traders trade systems that don't work. In fact I'd be willing to bet (without proof of course)...

I just tried it as well for Nasdaq futures and the only data available was hourly and only back till may of this year... edit: I was able to get 1 minute data which did not include volume but I still can't seem to get data past this may.
