    **ATTENTION** Transaction Tax

Unfortunatly DeFazio has taken the next step in pushing his agenda. Since we are the only ones who will stand up against this bill we need to be more organized. -We need a form letter written by someone here to email all concerned parties. Anyone interested raise your hand. -We need a...

    Futures or Stocks?! The truth

After all these years I'm still waiting to see some futures traders on the P&L thread with mid six fig's to match all the stock traders in that range. Futures traders must just be modest. Tax advantages are only beneficial if you can make $.

Where do the Top Traders Trade?

lol focus on Lescor, he blows my numbers away. imo one way you could approach finding a mentor would be something like this: Offer to pay someone the equivalent to what they make per week up to a max. Eg. if the trader says he makes $10k a week then you pay up to that amount to watch. If...

    Size of account blowouts required

The only guys saying that you need to blow out your account are guys that have done that and are still struggling to turn profitable. Don't believe that crap. And don't quote Market Wizards because that's an apples-to-oranges comparison to the type of trading we do.

How much is a client worth?

It's just like trading...risk vs. reward. You sweep your account every 2-4 weeks and take on some risk. Your reward is full leverage, often much higher than 10:1.

How much is a client worth?

Ten thousand dollars...Oh my god! I'll restate this. Anyone retail-prop equity trader who is profitable and knows what they are doing can get as much leverage as they need.

How much is a client worth?

10 months fulltime and still no edge

You are trying run before learning to walk. How are you going to find an edge if you have no experience actually trading? Backtesting does not create strategies, trading knowledge does. Take your ten months as a learning experience that hopefully you can use later, once you actually have a...

    Pictures of your trading stations

They are Dell 24's flipped vertical. I learned the hard way that if you want to flip them you have to avoid the low grade monitors because the quality degrades a lot on the cheaper monitors if the viewing angle isn't just right. Just an fyi. Also know that most stands are not made for 24's...

    Characteristics of a Successful Trader

Slow day here so here you go... 1. You are missing the purpose of the P&L thread. In the early days of ET before these threads existed it seemed like every day someone asked if it was possible to make money trading. There were large threads of skeptics against the few that were profitable...
