No question. Yeah, I don't think a backtest will hold up well at all, I just need a starting point to even see if I'm onto something. Then from there maybe I can do a walk-forward analysis.

Yeah from what Ive seen so far, it looks like its easier to just go with the momentum than to try and fade. You don't trade individual stock gaps do you?
