Why do you prefer Medvedtrader over TWS´s Chartrader? Is the difference so huge? In tws you can also set up a limit order by clicking on the chart, you can set up buttons for buying, selling, closing the position etc.

I find chartrader is not bad although the charts are not looking pretty. But you get second based charts, which you don´t get with tos, tc 2000. Mostly i use the 15s chart for an entry. But the backfill for the second chart works only for the current trading day. That´s the only disadvantage...

Hello, my question regards to how IB is handling margin accounts. Assume I have $ 20,000 cash in my margin account and would buy an etf for $ 5000. The remaining $ 15.000 would remain in cash. Would i have to pay interest on this purchase, if i hold this etf for weeks? Thanks

Hello, is there a programmable trading software which allows to use different time frames in one formula? For example: I want to get informed if the 5min candle crosses the weekly pivot point. TOS does not allow this because a mixing of aggregration periods is not possible.

I tried to set up a scan to get informed (for example) when the current price is crossing it`s 200 tma (triangular moving average) on a 3hours chart. TOS does not offer a 3hours scanning. I tried to implement this with a 1hour chart, but a 600tma on a 1hours chart is not identical to a 200tma on...

Does anyone know a software which is capable to scan the entire market on a 3hours basis? TOS scans 1,2,4 hours time frames but not 3hours. TC 2000 scans 1,2,4 and 195minute but not exactly 180minutes.

The 5 % move should refer to the 377 tick candle. The current 377 tick candle is 5 % higher than the last one.
