The great Mark Minervini writes: Monday, February 1, 2010 Low volume rally; not very impressive Going into Monday, the general market was oversold and due for a bounce; it could even rally a bit further. So far however, the rally is anemic on low volume. I'm still cautious at this...

Our assumption of a weak rebound held its place. The Vol yesterday was below average, money is slipping out. We want the last of the sellers to plunge in, before we move in on the long side. Until then the strategy will keep us safe.

The rebound yesterday, 01.Feb.2009 was decent. The vol was below average. Money seems to be moving in. The new 26 week highs were low in count. I am not convinced that the sellers are gone yet, thus I am still waiting in cash.

The action we saw yesterday 28.Jan.2010, confirms the down trend is not yet done. Volume was high. We will have a Special Post on one of the breadth indicators that has helped me, time the market effectively quite a few times, this week-end. Thus my status is lying in...

The action we say yesterday 27.Jan.2010, is not something we can call a rebound. Volume was decent, but the move has no legs. One of the stats I look for is the new 26 week highs, and this number has only been decreasing. Thus still waiting.......
