Broker recommendations for IB customer looking to trade pit contracts?

I am currently a customer of IB and I am very satisfied with them for electronic markets. But I would also like to swing trade some of the pit traded markets, which IB does not provide access to. Does anyone have any recommendations for a broker for someone looking to swing trade pit traded...

Why are the Forex markets so dead lately?

There seems to be almost nothing going on in the forex market for the last few weeks. I've been wondering why. I was thinking that the market was slow because of Bernanke's testimony was coming up, but that is long gone and the market is still dead. Does anyone have any explanations? Thanks...

Thanks for your message. I am used to trading S&P and bonds. I guess you could call me an intraday swing trader. I hold anywhere from minutes to hours based on chart patterns. Definitely not a scalper. Based on this which markets do you recommend? I am now living in Barcelona and plan to...

    Largest volume European futures contracts

Thanks for your response. So for a US futures trader that mainly trades S&P and bonds, what do you think is the best way to go in the European markets? Is Euro Stoxx 50 better to trade than the DAX? It is interesting because back in the US I only heard about DAX, no one talked abuot Euro...

    Largest volume European futures contracts

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the highest volume futures contracts are in Europe? And I am not just talking about Eurex but rather any contract traded on any exchange in Europe. I would assume DAX and bunds on Eurex are the biggest but I would appreciate it if someone could...

Futures Prop and the Currency Markets

Since Eurex is a European company and London has the highest volume of currency trading, perhaps they can get more liquidity than CME. The only thing on the CME with good liquidity is the Euro.

Lower priced data options beside eSignal

So using IB's free data I can go back up to five days on as low a time frame as 1 minute charts? Even without keeping my computer on?

Lower priced data options beside eSignal

So then what do you use for historical data? With IB data feed you only get the data for the time period that your computer is on correct?
