Between Bridges: March 20, 2017 – CME Group Settles Disciplinary Action Alleging Automatic Liquidati

BTW, with regards to that Cotton NZ14 spread they referred to later in the article, the last minute liquidation before FND did seriously disrupt the market (although not really a market non-commercials would be in at that point):

Three pretty East Bay homes under $1M—and one made the cover of Sunset Magazine in 1941

Well my point was really about the fact that they're not even selling houses anymore - they're selling "the dream" aka the American one. In reality the real middle class can't afford any of this shit, this is dual income smug tech worker American dream type stuff and they'll gladly pay just to...

What time is the closing price of the CME Corn market?

Your trouble here is purely about settlement prices or not. If you're trading daily/weekly, you could just go off of settlement and go from there. If you want more "data" you could consider everything and just pull overnight+RTH on RTH close.

Three pretty East Bay homes under $1M—and one made the cover of Sunset Magazine in 1941

You gotta love how we're going full circle from granite countertops and stainless steel to "retro 1930s". Think about how insane this is, flippers ripping out old school stuff to replace with modern McMansion nonsense and then trends changing such that they're tearing out the granite and...

Karen the Supertrader - TastyTrade Hybrid Experiment

With the rate the SEC has been going the last decade or so she'll probably be a commissioner within a year.

How do you approach trading spreads like this?

By far the cheapest (and IMO one of the best besides CQG) for charting is this: 1. eSignal Classic (aka on demand [one caveat: does not support custom EFS studies]) 2. eSignal delayed service bundle for all North American, European, and Asian futures, stock exchanges, and FX. Just get all of...

Guy makes $160,000 and barely making it month to month...

It's totally possible to find a 1BR outside of the city proper for less than 2400$. Anyway both SFBA and Sydney are insane bubbles so just sit back and be patient.

FTSE 100 moving from ICE to CME?

To all the people saying they'd love to see TF move to CME because you don't want to pay the "exorbitant" 120$: You'll be paying that and more in losses once the Russell gets arb'd to death on CME as cross-index margining will be much more direct on the same exchange. Anything you like about...

Interactive Brokers historical data vs Quandl (CME)

IB only uses continuous contracts when you request the continuous contract symbol. isotope, what specifically is off about the IB data that you're concerned about - and on what timeframe? I have access to a few data providers and can cross-check if you can point out what the problem is.

Monthly flat fee trading coming - 20$ for stocks, 100$ for options

Well this is just the other part of the fun out there. HFT/MM entities trying to force price insensitivity. Just because it's dumb money doesn't mean you're going to get a "great deal."

Monthly flat fee trading coming - 20$ for stocks, 100$ for options

You'll distinctly notice futures missing. C'mon folks this is all about monetizing order flow. If flow were regulated such that internalization was disallowed and NBBO was forced this stuff would be gone in an instant.

    CME Ratio'ed Metals Spreads !!

So these spreads are known by these symbols: GSR: Gold/Silver ratio spread. "Once a reference price is established for Gold, the Gold reference price will be divided by the settlement price of Silver to establish the settlement price of the ratio spread." GPS: Gold - Platinum spread. "Once a...

Bay Area tops nation in homebuying bidding battles

Don't believe the "supply" meme folks (yes, there is a supply issue - but don't buy into it so much). Find the appropriate instruments and prepare for what will undoubtedly play out.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Glad to see the "this time is different" / "new paradigm" crowd starting to show up. Because QE'd/ZIRP'ed out CB circuses in structurally and demographically unsound contexts are somehow on par with 1942-1966 strong middle class boom-time markets. You know what's dumb about these charts? They...
