Last I heard this didn't even have stop losses implemented. Also order flow selling up the wazoo. They may not make money on commissions but they sure as hell do on selling order flow and potentially internalizing. Nothing in life is free.

I use both (and also OSX). As far as windows goes it does not matter as the core kernel and API is basically the same. The additional start menu and other metro type stuff is a win8 thing that can easily be disabled or just ignored when using things.

Dumb question but why does your laggy phone wifi increase your risk? I mean obviously I get that it's annoying and makes entries worse - but you send your orders to the exchange and they execute them regardless of what your phone is doing at that point. Are you not using stops or something?
