It seems normal that the market was the opposite before and after the regular trading hours, at least in the last week.

When I buy a lower high, it often turned out to be a reversal. I have given up buying retracement. But I like the retracement after a big decline like 8+ points, I'm working on this right now, two or three points with a few contacts, one trade a day is enough.

Very interesting. Many institutions should have the resource to do HFT if it serves them well, maybe they just want to hedge, or do position trading, etc. and don't care about intraday loss.

It seems that the more I learn, the worse my trading becomes. I think I will either trade well or quit trading in one year, time will tell. I do think about it a lot, just being curious about institution traders.

Actually it can be the other way around, the traders of S&P 500 stocks use es to trade stocks, which affects S&P 500 index. It makes more sense to me that the index follows es.

Don't understatement the trend followers, you show the muscle, you get more followers than enemies.
