What do you think of this strategy?

Dont get me wrong, i appreciate ALL the suggestions/critiques. I didnt take any of it personal. If I didnt appreciate it, i would not have gone back through the testing with the suggestions in mind.

Appreciate it and what i meant by flaming was because I made a mistake in my calculations for Average Winner/Average loser, i am sure someone will say that its fictional haha...but again, appreciate you taking the time to read my thread

What do you think of this strategy?

I made a mistake in my numbers, my actual average winner to average loser is higher, closer to 3.5 but i wont get into it here. It seems i have now officially opened the gates of hell. Let the flaming begin. But this thread is dead.

What do you think of this strategy?

Please explain how this affects the stats? I have checked the back testing manually. For example, if i have a short at 1200, stop at 1210, and then short at 1215 if it all gets ht the same bar it would be short 1200 stop -5 short 1210

What do you think of this strategy?

This could never happen, buy and sells signals never happen that close to each other. The only thing that could happen would be a sell, stop, and sell again in the same bar. However, this would be counted as, entry, stop , entry.

What do you think of this strategy?

Its like this as a hypothetical , if the zone is at 1200, buy 1200, stop 1190, target 1210, if price moves to 1189, regardless where in the bar relative to the close it is i would have been stopped. I dont understand how this would involve peeking.

What do you think of this strategy?

Please explain intrabarorder assumptions further. Trailing stops are not used.

What do you think of this strategy?

For one thing, I do not consider myself a "newbie". Second, there is no peeking. I.e. I do not wait for close of bars, or crossovers, or oversold conditions. The core of my system is this, if it hits zone, buy, stop and first target set. How can it be peeking if it is forwarded tested...

What do you think of this strategy?

My "zones" are defined sometimes 2 hours in advanced, there is no peeking. I.e. i do not wait for a moving average to close at a certain level, meaning my decisions are not based on the second a bar closes. In all of my time trading in the ES, slippage has never been a problem. As stated...

What do you think of this strategy?

i want to further clarify that this strategy is strictly PA with no indicators what so ever.

What do you think of this strategy?

By peeking issue do you mean that because i backtested, and knowing where price ended up going that there was a bias ? The stats given since oct were forward tested. If you dont mind explaining how that does not resolve this "peeking" issue?
