Poll: What's the Best Way to Trade FX - Futures, IB's ECN Model, or Corrupt Brokers?

I can't seem to pull up 6E on IB for some reason. Do I need a special market data subsription? Just wanted to ask before I call up IB.

Why do Trolls, Immoral Degenerates, and Idiots ALWAYS WIN EVERYWHERE AT ALL TIMES

Well the biggest troll to ever visit ET - Trader28, has finally won. He has driven the most prolific contributer to ET - Jack Hershey away from ET. Yes folks, Jack Hershey has left the buildling: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=104708&perpage=40&pagenumber=1 The...

New law would have required all couples in cali to read marriage laws BEFORE marriage

Wow - you're right. No guy in his right mind would follow thru on marriage after reading that, scary.

    Did Niederhoffer Lie To Baron?

He's probably puking right now with SPX all the way back up to 1525 and Nasdaq at 6 year high at 2700. Like they say, there are old traders and bold traders - but no old bold traders.

I blew up this morning. But I feel fine.

Nice, good work. Your style is really the only way to survive in the long run. What do you trade, stocks or futures?

Poll: What's the Best Way to Trade FX - Futures, IB's ECN Model, or Corrupt Brokers?

I didn't know about 6e. I looked it up, I see its a Euro futures contract that trades on CME. I can pull it up on IB for some reason. But why is it better than e7? Its probably a larger contract than e7.

I blew up this morning. But I feel fine.

A 58 day win streak and then you lose 10% of your account. I think this is a major issue for guys that try to make money each and every single day. Its quite easy to do so long as you're willing to take a bigger risk each time your down - but eventually you have a monster blowout loss. The...

Poll: What's the Best Way to Trade FX - Futures, IB's ECN Model, or Corrupt Brokers?

I'm trading E7 futures right now, and I'm fine with it since I'm doing swing trading. However, the volume is really thin which makes me hesitant to trade it more actively. I hear that IB has an ECN model. Explain that to me, how does that work? And I've heard so many stories of underfunded...

    myminitrading ES Futures

Nice work and this is a good journal. I must admit I wouldn't be able to sleep with that kind of a position on even if I had 2-3 mil. There are plenty of opportunities to scalp intraday and I don't see the need to open yourself to the risk that comes from headline risk in this kind of market...

US Home Price Decline Accelerates, steepest drop in 16 years.

The question is where is that seller buying his replacement home. He's got to live somewhere and I doubt sellers are going to just take any low ball offer if it ain't enough to buy a comparable home at whatever place he's are moving to. After this steep decline, we're going to get 7 years of a...

GM Says UAW Calls National Strike

I think Crysler is going to start selling a car designed and manufactored in China under the Crysler brand. A harbinger of things to come. The UAW is as out of touch as the execs that create so much red tape to take care of their own job security and pensions.

Satyajit Das:Bear Market of epic Proportions

With PEs at 15 there is no way we fall more than 30% to a PE of 10 which would be the lowest valuations level in over 25 years. The only risk is the 'value trap.' Bear market of epic proportions - hell no, I don't think so. We've been in a valuations bear market for over 7 years now.

"We're Prepared to Act as Needed" = FEDSPEAK for we're desperate and will do anything

"We're Prepared to Act as Needed" = FEDSPEAK for we're desperate and will do anything to preempt economic/market weakness to bail out wall street bankers and to prevent another democratic landslide in 2008. Same goes for China - 2008 is the year it gets a chance to showcase its power on the...

    EEM Short

2008 is China's year to showcase its power - the Chinese will not allow any economic weakness and will do whatever it can to prevent a slumping economy/market. Its the same with the US - Ben Bernanke will 'act as needed' to preempt any economic weakness going into the 2008 elections.

    women over 30

Women over 30 - tend to be cold and bitter. Women under 30 - tend to be shallow and superficial. Lose, lose situation either way. I think the key is find a girl that's into health and fitness - a very rare find. You can do some amazing things if you stay fit and healthy. Look at...
