I understand the risks on this asset,,,,but it still looks attractive to me. today at close GBTC is up and BTC is down... I am sure there are many days that are the opposite. I just really like that right thru my IB account I can buy/sell. A big name we all trust with IB. No weirdo...

sorry guys.... I just learned the the ETC fund for Ethereum is only available for private placement to accredited investors... but GBTC sure looks interesting.. I am kinda surprised that there are not more of these Crypto ETF's available. I bet we will see many more on the market in...

This ETF looks like a great option. I am glad I discovered it. So since it is a ETF, I can trade it just like a stock or any other ETF. The gains look great, in line with Crypto expectations. by the way... the same company offers a similar ETF for Ethereum.. ETC is the ticker,,, currently...

ok.. please help me calculate cash requirements to hold BTC futures overnight... what is my required cash in account, per contract to be? I will buy/sell at IB also, what will a 1 pt move on BTC equal on the futures contract.??

ok...then maybe I need to look at IB... I guess I thought IB was primarily for higher volume day traders

I am a swing trader, so I do not need IB or similar for day trading I will buy/sell naked options , Index Futures, and maybe the occasional ETF Costs is a concern,,, but I am more concerned about customer service, order execution, ease of use.. what do you like and why?

I am listening... my idea just sounds like trouble waiting to happen.... no big deal to set an alarm that says to notify me if XYZ trades at X Price.. there are tons of free services that accomplish that.

does anyone know if it is possible to set the following type of order thru a US broker.. lets say stock ABC is trading at $20/share for common stock... I want to set an order that says ,,, if ABC goes to $18, buy x number of $17 calls expiring Month/date. and I would want to set the sell...

Thank you for the reply. The issue of trading with institutions that have no oversight and insurance is the key thing that has kept me out of the Crypto's. I would be much more comfortable participating, once it is available thru mainstream exchanges and brokers such as CME if we get options...
