I know the weighted ETFs are designed to match the DAILY performance of the indices and how they decay over time, etc. What about the 1x inverse ETFs like PSQ? Will it be exactly the inverse of QQQQ over the long term? Or does it somehow decay as well despite not being weighted?

I've heard of people shorting both a weighted ETF and its inverse and making money, but it seems like with UPRO and SPXU the opposite is true; shorting them both would lose money over time.

Buy equal amounts. If market goes down: eventually sell the SPXU and use the profits to buy more UPRO (which will eventually go up because the US economy isn't going to 0) If market goes up: you still make money. Over the last 6 months UPRO is up 60% and SPXU is down 46% = net gain of 14%...

That will blow out an account in a few minutes during a big trend. Price usually reverts to mean of BBands, but sometimes it keeps going up the outer bands and then you lose. I've blown demo accounts when that happens before.

if price moved to where the volume was then whichever side of the DOM had more orders, price would go there. obviously thats not the case :P but my question was about bid vs ask volume as an indicator, eg., showing how much of a bar was at the bid vs how much was at the ask. i wasnt talking...
