    Ten years ago, a Massachusetts town, I believe Chelsea, went bankrupt. I think the state took over under receivership. I guess Uncle Sam will take over California if it goes belly-up.

    I think strength of the tradable Asian currencies to some extend is because Chinese currency is not tradable; yet people expect its value to rise. so to play chinese currency indirectly, people buy currencies whose host countries having close trade ties with China.

    I hope the title is not going to misguide young people. Education is very important, not only as career credentials but also as life quality. College degree is not an issue until you do not have one. Get as much education as possible, even doing it part time.
