don't forget it doesn't include the early stuff (before or after 9/11, i forget which). and as a point of comparison - his 4 or 5 year performance is a fair bit worse than if you just bought the Qs or the spoos..

lots o' stuff... cnbc won't cancel his show, it's their highest rated show in a long time. part of the reason for the new stock picks comes from ppl above his head, to always come up with 'new' stuff to draw in people. there was an article about his show and the success, and the cnbc...

those restrictions are bull. as part of it, he could have put in something like: "if a stock goes down 10% from my entry point, it will be auto-sold". that would be one way to limit the losses. but cramer "doesn't believe in stops". and don't forget NT - where he bought lots on the way...

there's definite similarities in poker and trading...money management is a huge one, never playing with the rent money, etc. i've learned what my strengths and weaknesses are psychologically, and try to play to my strengths (and avoid my weaknesses). so i'll play low limit SNGs for no limit...

IB had some type of problem yesterday am as well. (yesterday = tuesday). at 7:45 am (est), virtually the entire short list went bye bye. went from 5300 stocks available to 475 stocks available. it came back up at 845... i notified them when it happened, and waited in chat- it came back...

i heard - though i have nothing backing this up - that acampora's best calls were never made public, that they were given to privileged clients. the calls which we heard about - which marked perfect turning points as ralph capitulated in either direction - were notoriously terrible...
