On the subject of the pre open. All I do is watch the pre open on the T&S (>99 filter) and the screen. If it is a crap shoot as has been suggested , then this morning was a busy crap shoot and I was in good company on the bid. But then I dont hold any opinion of the market at any time...

Yes pre open is very important. The clue lay in the 9.15 touch of yes high and the subsequent build up on the ask.

What advantages does NQ over ES ?

Just been cruising over the NQ ... frisky little devil, seems to love volatility expansion. Quite different to ES. I will bait a little trap for the bugger tomorrow and see what happens.

What advantages does NQ over ES ?

Thank you to you all. So far I have gained a great deal from this thread so far. Having had my ass handed to me in a sling some years ago by believing the ES trend was my friend, I cobbled together an effective way of fading the beast by front running the money and rolling when I get it...

What advantages does NQ over ES ?

Many here swear by the NQ over ES. I would be interested to read what is their reasoning and what are the advantages. Since I have never traded the NQ, I hold no opinion.

Does the YM lead the ES?

Does the YM lead the ES?

That is very helpful BB. A little expansion will not go astray, otherwise your comment is consigned to the bleachers.

    is anyone using hindsight trading?

Do they offer hindsight brokerage? I have always found this to be the stumbling block, otherwise I would be placing my MOO at market close every day.
