    Ken Lay, DEAD.

Regardless of your religious affiliation, I would hardly consider dying a "win." I'm a bit surprised that anyone would choose to be an apologist for systemic fraud but given the earlier comment about "winning" it's a bit more understandable. Just my $.02.

    Ken Lay, DEAD.

Total drivel. The guy and his cronies vaporize billions in investor money, bring down one of the largest accounting firms in the world, totally screw their employees out of their pensions, and you want to defend him? Talk about needing a reality check.

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

I suppose you don't own car or health insurance because you haven't gotten sick or in an accident yet? It's not a very good argument especially considering the fact that global warming is a fact. It's only the causes that are under debate and what to do to resolve the issue.

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

I might be more inclined to agree with you if you could pull up some links to support your contention about global cooling. Having said that, Lindzen's primary argument is that the evidence isn't conclusive that human activities are causing the warming not that the earth isn't warming or...

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

I agree it's a problem. The best answer would be massive research into improving solar panel efficiency and cost of mfg. If we could get that right we could then convert cars to electric and charge them off the home...etc. Hopefully, that would provide enough of an offset to make global...

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

Well, If you come across any links you can post pop them up and we can see what they add. I don't find "earth day" to be particularly persuasive or scary for that matter.

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

That seems straight-forward enough. It's like the bird flu. It might be a major issue. It might not. But it doesn't pay to sit around and say it doesn't exist and don't worry about it. It's not like you can solve global warming in a week with an antibiotic after all. As to the impact on...

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

OK, At least we are on the same page as to what we are discussing. We just disagree about sources for our respective arguments. Try these links: http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2005/01/the-global-cooling-myth/ http://www.wmconnolley.org.uk/sci/iceage/ Personally, I...

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

I took your point to be that the fact that the media had hyped the concept of global cooling back in the 70's that global warming was just as speculative now in '06. The purpose of the link I provided was to show a) that scientists didn't believe in the global cooling thesis back in the 70s...

An Inconvenient Truth: Gore is wrong

You're making my point for me. You end up focused on Gore, Clinton, Democrats, etc... and don't look a serious issue in the face. The issue isn't about politics. However, it has been politicized -- by both sides. All you are doing is spreading the politicization of the issue without examining...
