    Bitcoin Price Thread

Is this guy actually being serious lol?? I looked it up and bitcoin and silver were $35 in 2013...today, that's a 168471% increase for bitcoin and a 11.4286% decrease for silver. Bitcoin and gold were $1200 in 2017.

I would imagine anything rate cut related was baked into price months ago before the last fed meeting.

The Three levels of chart reading proficiency.

Oh yeah I could have made 8% from my imaginary MARA trade... :)

I'm waiting to see the retrace on (4)...if it breaks .382 then double correction. To visualize it, right around (3) would be X on the weekly and ((1)), ((2)), (3) would become a 3-3-5 wxy on the daily. Super Guppy looking like plenty of downside left...MACD showing opposite atleast for the...

The Three levels of chart reading proficiency.

Oh you get praise for this comment, but I show multiple scenarios that can play out on a chart and I get criticized???!!! Look at the bias!

Rules You should not be commenting unless posting a chart that supports your claims. Charts must expand out into the future not just labelling the past. If we do not continue onto a double correction on the daily chart, then I see this playing out something like this. Looking at the...

How to short a stock with zero risk.

I looked into selling puts but the premiums are cheap af. If it rallies you have a long vertical call spread to cover the amount of shares you are planning on buying. LOL btw. :)

How to short a stock with zero risk.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I have mentally decided that I'm buying a certain stock. However, I don't actually pull the trigger. Instead I stay on the sidelines. This will have the exact same effect as if I actually shorted the underlying but without the upside risk., or margin...

    Canadian traders losing TOS

It's better imo..just for the charts alone. It's basically a cleaned up version of tos. If you are on TOS then don't bother switching...if you were on TOS and lost access after they switched then it is by far the best platform of all the Canadian banks.

How do you handle price being halfway between your buy signal and stop loss.

Says you. First of all the amount of traders around here who think they have created an edge simply by how they manage trades is hilarious. IMO using targets based on the % of profits you are getting or risk ratios is counter-productive AND counter-intuitive. Stocks have expected moves, so if...

Am I calculating this rollout correctly?

Where is the math wrong? If you make a comment like that then at least back it up! :) This statement might be confusing you so let me clarify. Closed a position for $495 Open a position for $480 Results is a $14.50 credit (.0145 credit x 100 x 100 =$14.50) So my sheet IS correct.

Am I calculating this rollout correctly?

Lol I'm in Canada...so where is it wrong??? Rolling is just a fancy way to say closing one position and opening another. Also, can't roll with my banks broker platform ...would have to phone it in for a fee. Is nobody going tho mention how awesome my sheet is to be able to calculate future date...

Your money is lost when you buy a stock

How are you day trading it? Let's see your chart. What's your next trade?

Down to about $90k, where would you park it if your trading skills were trash?

Update? Did you go with dividends?

Am I calculating this rollout correctly?

If on SEP19, BITO is trading @19.50, and I roll out the SEP20 spread to SEP27: I entered the SEP20 spread for a debit of .08 I would be closing SEP20 spread for credit of .495 (.583-.089) I would be opening a new SEP27 spread for a debit of .48 (1.012-.532) So the cost to roll is going to be...

Wyckoff Volume Spread Analysis: From Theory to Practical Application

I mean its good the op is trying to expand his knowledge from the rudimentary S&R...perhaps chart patterns, candlesticks, order blocks, cyphers, Wychoff, Stage analysis etc...I find the journey eventually will lead you to EW because these methods are all part of EW. He is still stuck in the...

Wyckoff Volume Spread Analysis: From Theory to Practical Application

I must be on ignore. Can somebody inform the op that I have already demonstrated that Wyckoff is just a crude form of EW?

How to short a stock with zero risk.

It's not though because with a phantom short, an actual trade is imminent.

Here's an excellent example of "Price TA".. support/resistance

I don't know who wrote that but he is crudely describing a pullback. We know how to measure pullbacks.. not only do we know how to measure pullbacks we know how to measure when pullbacks will likely begin. Trading is nothing but statistics and probabilities... There's really no such thing as...
